AUW Fundraising Event 

"Walking in Solidarity with Afghan Women"

아프가니스탄 여성과 연대하여 걷기 
 

Between August 22-28, members of the AUW community around the world are coming together to walk, run, bike, and swim the distance between Kabul and Chittagong. This journey symbolizes the path of 600 young Afghan women leaving their homes in Afghanistan to study at Asian University for Women in Bangladesh. 

This week the university welcomed 18 of these brave students to campus. There is still time to sponsor our mission and make a donation towards their scholarships, enabling them to graduate with a University degree and empowering them to become leaders in waiting for the Afghanistan of the future. 

지난 8월 22일에서 28일, 전 세계 AUW 공동체 회원들이 카불에서 출발하여 치타공에 이르기까지의 거리를 함께 걷고 뛰며, 자전거를 타고 수영하기 위해 모였습니다. 이 여정은 600명의 젊은 아프간 여성들이 아프가니스탄 집을 떠나 AUW가 위치한 방블라데시에 도달하는 길, 즉 배움을 통해 이루는 자기 성장을 상징합니다.

AUW는 이 용감한 여학생들 중 18명을 캠퍼스에 초청해 따뜻히 맞이했습니다. AUW의 비젼에 뜻을 함께하고 도전하는 여학생들의 꿈을 응원하기 위한 장학금 기부를 통해, 그들이 대학 교육을 성공적으로 마치고 미래 아프가니스탄 지도자가 될 수 있도록 응원과 격려를 부탁드립니다.
